Through a collaborative action of three partner universities, the FEDERATE project aims to create and promote knowledge on opportunities, requirements for, and benefits of educational exchange for research, studies, supervision, and practice at each of the three universities and their industrial partners.
The FEDERATE project is focused on students‘ research and industrial educational practice as the cornerstone for improving the quality of higher education and science and strengthening academic cooperation between Baltic States and Germany.
The project aims to foster long-term cooperation between partner universities by tapping into currently unused opportunities of international cooperation in the form of industry practice (applied research projects), diploma and semester research work supervision and co-supervision by staff from different universities.
The key deliverables of the project will be 1) the factual knowledge on opportunities and requirements for research-oriented education, and 2) the organized two 2-day workshops in Kaunas and Reutlingen in October 2023 to bring together key stakeholders (students, academic staff, infustry partners) and enable knowledge sharing.
