How is generative artificial intelligence changing cybersecurity practice? Where does its responsible use begin in organisations, education and digital working environments? And can cyber resilience and sustainable AI development become not parallel conversations, but a shared direction?
These questions will be explored during the educational seminar “Generate-SustAIn-StrOng”, organised by GAISO, a project of Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty, and the Centre of Excellence of AI for Sustainable Living and Working “SustAInLivWork”, represented by researchers of the Faculty of Informatics at Vytautas Magnus University.
This is a synergy event bringing together two highly relevant areas of research and practical application: cybersecurity and the sustainable, responsible development of AI.
During the seminar, speakers will discuss the role of generative AI in cybersecurity practice, new forms of digital communication and cyber threats, AI innovations for sustainable living and working, as well as personal data protection and cyber resilience challenges in the era of post-quantum computing.
The event will conclude with a panel discussion, “Cyber Resilience and Sustainable AI Development: Is Synergy Between GAISO and SustAInLivWork Possible?”, focusing on interdisciplinary cooperation, joint initiatives and the competences needed to build a safer, more responsible and more sustainable digital future.
Date and venue: 20 May 2026, Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty, Muitinės str. 8, Kaunas.
