The twenty-first seminar Social Media As A Field For Civil Confrontation, Disinformation, Propaganda will take place at 10 a.m. on 24 November 2022 in room AVL2 and will be also available online on Microsoft Teams platform following the link: https://bit.ly/3AimpAx. The language of the seminar will be English.

International peer review of Finance study field in Lithuania will take place on November 14th. 

On 11, 16 and 18 November the VU Kaunas Faculty is going to host a series of lectures by Dr Rimas Vaišnys for students of the Bachelor programme Information Systems and Cyber Security. The lectures are going to be held in English.

Lectures:

• November at 12:00 – Conventional Computer Physics. The lecture is going to take place at the computer room No. XIII, during Prof. Dr Audrius Lopata’s class.
• November at 12:00 – Programming and Virtual System Development. The lecture is going to take place at the computer room No. XIII, during Prof. Dr Dalia Krikščiūnienė’s class.
• November at 12:00 – Computer Systems of the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing. The lecture is going to take place at the computer room No. XIII, during Prof. Dr Audrius Lopata’s class.

Dear members of the Kaunas Faculty community,

On 1 November we will be celebrating All Saints' Day. The eve of the Day of the Dead makes us think about the cyclical nature of life and death. And although death is a natural part of life, it is not easy to come to terms with it. However, I wish all of you and your loved ones, including those of you who have survived the deaths of your loved ones as a result of the war in Ukraine, to find comfort within your soul and inner strength in the most difficult moments.
On this occasion, I invite all of you to the "River of Souls" (https://bit.ly/3sIsrWQ), organised by the VU Kaunas Faculty Students' Representative Office. Take a walk with your loved ones amid thousands of candles lit at the heart of Kaunas and have a moment to think about those dear to you that have passed away.

The Institute of Social Sciences and Applied Informatics at the Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty is continuing the Prof. Vladas K. Gronskas seminar cycle, devoted to the analysis of a state’s sustainable development in the context of a mixed economy.

The nineteenth seminar "Concept representation methods and approaches. Concept maps and ONTO6 framework as examples" will take place on 27 October 2022 at 12.00 (language of the presentation - English).

We invite you to the annual event "River of Souls", which has become a tradition and is organised by the Vilnius University Students' Representation in Kaunas Faculty (VU SR KnF)!

On November 1st, All Saints’ Day, we humbly invite you to visit the heart of Kaunas and to take part in “The River of Souls” organized by VU SR KnF.

As the last year, we will be using sustainable and more environmentally friendly elements.
