Erasmus+: what’s so special about it?
“Is it possible to describe my studies in Sweden via Erasmus+ programme in one short message? Definitely not! How to fit all the UNREAL and SUPER FANTASTIC months into one page?! Yet, I will try my very best to fulfill this assignment” , says Girvydas Kulakauskas a third year student of Audiovisual Translation, who has just come back from a semester long visit to Umea University (Sweden).

A 4th year student of Cultural Management, Laimutė Triukaitė, has spent her Autumn semester as an intern in “The Italian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce” in the city of Rome, Italy. The soon-to-be specialist of cultural management admits that leaving Lithuania for Erasmus+ internship meant for her major changes in the way she regards her life and professional career. “Now I realize that this choice I made last year was one of the best in my life. Being in Rome I had the exceptional opportunity to see how Italy takes care of its cultural system. Moreover, during my preparatory term, I had the opportunity to witness how various business events, meetings, conferences and luxurious international events are organized. Finally, it was so interesting to find out the exceptional aspects of the Italian work culture”, explains Laimutė.
