MSCA Posdoctoral Fellowship 2026
Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius University welcomes expressions of interest from excellent postdoctoral researchers intending to apply for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 call. We offer a strong and supportive host environment with proven experience in international research projects, interdisciplinary collaboration, and high-impact scientific output in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, social sciences, and applied informatics. Fellows will benefit from dedicated supervision, proposal development support, access to modern research infrastructure, and integration into active national and European research networks.

Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius University seeking to join a consortium for "Economics of climate change and cost of inaction" (HORIZON-CL5-2026-07-D1-03) call. Project type: HORIZON-RIA HORIZON Research and Innovation Actions
Research focus:
Economics of climate change, sustainable entrepreneurship, and innovation-driven business models supporting climate mitigation and adaptation.
Our goal:
To analyse the economic impacts of climate change and the cost of inaction by examining how enterprises, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and policy instruments influence sustainable transitions.
Expertise we bring to the consortium:
Climate-related economic analysis, sustainability assessment frameworks, qualitative and quantitative empirical research, and expertise in evaluating entrepreneurial responses, corporate responsibility, and policy impacts in the context of climate transition.
The Sustainability Assessment group at the Institute of Social Sciences and Applied Informatics conducts research on sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation-driven business in the context of climate change, analysing how enterprises affect economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Using interdisciplinary methods, including climate-related economic analysis and impact assessment, the group supports evidence-based policymaking and strategies to reduce the costs of inaction.

LMT Student Summer Internship 2026
The Research Council of Lithuania is continuing its summer internship competition to encourage student involvement in research, strengthen their scientific skills, and support their career in science.
Submission of Student Applications will be able from March 2026 to May-June 2026. A student may submit no more than two applications for summer internship positions in the Council’s electronic system at https://projektai.lmt.lt/#login
Internship period: July–August 2026
Internship funding: €4,000 or €4,900 (in accordance with the provisions of Point 35 of the Guidelines). The student will receive a scholarship of €1000 per month (a total of €2000). Students of foreign research and higher education institutions are encouraged to participate in this call.
