We are pleased to launch a call for papers for the 12th Prof. Vladas Gronskas Young Researchers Scientific Conference “Development in Economics: Theory and Practice”. The aim of this conference is to promote innovative and applicable research on effective, safe, regular and sustainable economy .
The conference provides young scientists with a great opportunity to take part in open discussions, share experiences and insights on the latest scientific developments, achievements and shortcomings. This scientific event may as well be a chance to update or establish new personal contacts for joint research and further cooperation. Master and doctoral students as well as other junior researchers are all invited to this conference which this year will be an international event.
The conference is also open to High School students, who may be willing to participate and seize the opportunity to advance their knowledge in economics, finance, management, business administration and marketing areas and to get acquainted with the learning and scientific experience ahead of their approaching university life.
Conference language: Lithuanian and English. Paper summaries and final papers shall be prepared in English.

Main deadlines
- Registration and submission of paper summary: up to October 26, 2015
- Notification of acceptance: up to November 2, 2015

- Meeting in the conference on December 10, 2015
- Submission of selected paper (6-8 pages): up to February 1, 2016

Requirements
The conference is constituted by 4 conference sections. You are welcome to apply to a particular section of the conference with an paper summary (around 500 words in total, up to 1 page) until October 26, 2015. The purpose, methodology, results, theoretical contribution, practical implications (if applicable) of the research proposal should be indicated in the paper summary. The paper summary must be provided in the VUKHF template.
The notification of the acceptance will be provided by November 02, 2015. All authors of accepted paper summary are invited to conference event and prepare final papers based on summaries.
Registration
Registration fee per person is 25.00 EUR (twenty five EUR and 00 cents). The fee includes participation in all sections, coffee breaks, lunch, documentation and the material of the conference.
Registration fee must be paid after registration approval, until November 09, 2015 and shall be made by bank transfer to VUKHF-2015 conference bank account.
